What sets them apart is they operate as a whole and for the whole construction project, unlike the usual construction contractor whose concern is the building of the structure but leaves the other aspects like hiring of trade partners to boot. And that isn't surprising, a recent survey had shown that infrastructure construction is become one of the booming business in the US. One of the better known Construction Management Firm is the CH2M HILL who ranked as the number one for both Program Management and fee-based construction management for twice a year now on the survey made by Engineering News-Record (ENR). Next in line is Parsons, a 100% employee-owned engineering and construction company that ended the 2005 with a revenue exceeding $3 billion. |
