    Construction Management Certificate

Having the highest growth rate plus its superb job demand, it's not really news when students clamor to get a construction management certificate.

When every time a distinguishing profession makes critical impact to the economy, one can always expect that such profession would suddenly become every student's dream, as what the polls say.

Anyway that's what took place in the Class of 2006 survey of the CNNMoney. With freshly graduated engineers and accountants getting hefty starting salary offers, it won't also surprising if the college students will start jumping on the community bandwagon and get degrees in engineering and accounting. And how did this fad regarding engineering circulated so much? It is the emerging giant industry of multibillion construction management profession.

According to the Class of 2006 survey of the CNNMoney, engineering studies tops the category. Chemical Engineering goes first with an approximate of $55,900; next in line is Electrical Engineering with $52,899; followed by Mechanical Engineering with $50,672. Close behind is Accountancy and of course, computer science and I.T.

Construction management now speaks of big business. Take for example Parsons whose 2005 revenues were listed exceeding $3 billion. And there are others still, construction management giants like CH2M Hill whose annual revenue is also listed in the $3 billion category and with more than 15,000 employees in regional offices worldwide. American construction firms are being recognized as the leading construction firms, and their project repertoire include overseas. With its high growth rate and superb demand, it's not really news when students clamor just to get an engineering degree and a construction management certificate.
