    Byu Construction Management Program

    The Brigham Young University or BYU is a private university located in Provo, Utah, which is acknowledged as one of the top construction management schools in the country. This university is supported by The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. BYU has a mission, which is to assist any individuals who wish to have a better and longer quality of life. Through that mission, BYU provide a period of thorough learning in a simulated setting where a commitment to excellence is expected and the full realization of human potential is pursued.

    The BYU Construction Management program takes four years to finish leading to a Bachelor of Science degree. This program is designed to give all those who are interested in construction management the abilities needed to stand out by providing a broad background in construction technology, business, architecture, and engineering with specific emphasis on management within the construction industry. The graduates of BYU Construction Management program are likely to fill middle-management positions like superintendents, estimators, schedulers, field engineers, inspectors, general contractors, sales representative, and construction insurance, or bonding personnel.

    Admission to the construction management undergraduate program is open to all BUY students, which may then apply for the professional program. The application to the professional BYU construction management program must be submitted upon completion of required pre-requite courses such as Phscs 105, Engl 150 or equivalent, Math 112, and CM 105. Together with the application, the person who wishes to applicant for this program should send a résumé and a letter indicating the intention to major in construction management and an explanation indicating the willingness to comply the required 300 hours of constructional-related work. All the applicants will be evaluated based on GPA, work experience, and leadership. The program application deadlines are August 11, December 1, and April 1. If you are accepted into the professional level, you are required to attend one spring or summer term.
